"2Times is an electronic live act with two sound technicians and two MC's. They mix and edit pre-programmed loops live on stage so every show is different. Being part of ZooCrew Zoetermeer they are able to perform at ZooCrew parties on which other No-Dex bands have played too.
In the mid 90's Ryan Berger started making beats for dliners with only a Roland MC-303 and a Yamaha SU-10 pocket sampler. When he got his own studio he started buying more synths, effect units and a mixer.
When he discovered Jungle and Drum'n'Bass in 2000 he decided to use his equipment in his own way and came up with the idea to do Live performances instead of DJ-ing. In those days parties were dominated by DJ's which made it hard to get booked. Now live DnB is still kinda new but its growing fast.
Ryan formed 2Times and started doing Live shows together with Dj Period and Mc P-Irie. In the beginning of 2003 Zoocrew started to organise DnB parties in the Boerderij in Zoetermeer and 2Times became a resident act. In 2004 they performed at several party's in
Zoetermeer, The Hague and Venlo. Next to that they did some remixes for FunX Radio and work with Jahva Sound, a Reggae Sound System." |
